When I ask clients what kind of images are most important to them, the words I hear again and again are: fun, casual, candid, relaxed, authentic, loving, laughing
No one has ever said: posed.
With that in mind, I've recently placed a strong focus on guiding and steering my clients to get the emotion, expression and position that will create a unique and flattering image. And I have avoided some of the more basic stances and hand positions (poses), that quite honestly, NO ONE does in real life.
Oh, the results are so authentic.
